  • At Uber, you'll find yourself surrounded by talented, empathetic people. Part of that comes from the dedication we all share to the communities we serve. We know what we do impacts real, living human beings with families and loved ones, and it drives every one of us to improve and perfect our craft.

  • Awarded gold in the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) 2024 LGBTQ+ Inclusion Awards.

  • The driver behind all of their growth, brand, and game-changing technology is the people that make Uber, #OneUber. Deepak, who landed an Account Representative role in Sydney recently shared how his team leader "asks questions on how he can help; actively listens and takes action to make sure we’re all taken care of.”

Our Story

The Hatch story started when good friends Adam Jacobs (Ex THE ICONIC Founder) and Chaz Heitner (Ex Zip Co-founder) came together to build something they were deeply passionate about.

Both founders believe that traditional hiring processes are broken and limit people from finding work that’s a good fit for them. Since founding the company, Adam and Chaz have built a team that shares their mission and are both confident they will continue to build an impactful global company for many years to come.

Pros
  • Countless opportunities for growth and networking

  • There is a feeling among staff that achieving professional growth and recognition within the company can be heavily influenced by subjective factors, such as having a supportive manager, rather than solely on merit.
  • Concerns have been expressed about the company's compensation structure and work-life balance, with some employees feeling that the pay rates and benefits have diminished over time, contributing to a less positive work environment.
